Madison Seminary in Madison, Ohio has a history dating back to 1845 and is said to be one of the most haunted locations in Ohio. This beautiful building has known many identities, whether a school, hospital, or home, it's walls hold many secrets and stories. In 2023, Lauren Haunts installed a live community experiment dubbed, "The Chamber", aimed to study the relationship between our state of mind or meditative state, and our ability to experience supernatural or paranormal phenomena. While planned to be a long running study gathering data for the better part of two years, this event will be the first of many Controlled Experiment sessions and allowing the general public to observe, participate, and be part of Lauren's research. Attendees can come to explore Madison Seminary, experience the Chamber experiment first hand, take part in various experiment stations set up throughout the location, demo Lauren Haunts equipment, or you can opt to purchase one of only 5 VIP tickets to gain early access to the building and participate in a controlled Chamber Experiment study with Lauren. TICKET INFO: General Admission Booking will have access to the entire location starting at 8pm - You will NOT be admitted any earlier then 7:45pm to fill out your waivers and get settled. VIP Experiment - Your experience begins at 4pm. You will have access to the entirety of one of the buildings while the study is being conducted in the other. You are welcome to bring snacks or food with you. As a VIP pass holder, you agree to complete the full Chamber Experiment study with a full debriefing after with Lauren (about a half hour). You are welcome to book two tickets if you prefer completing the study with a partner (there is no discount for using the buddy system) The study includes: - Walking through the 3rd floor of the building solo (or with your partner) for 10-15 minutes - Having a debrief of any experience after the dry walk through - Sitting through the Chamber program (must be completed with your partner if you purchased a double ticket) located in a roughly 6'x6' space (a medium sized converted broom closet) in complete darkness while a recorded meditation prompt is played for 15 minutes - Repeating your walkthrough of the initial space in order to gauge any difference in experience This experiment does require walking up and down 2 levels of stairs.
